Red Castle Studio

Service

IT services and DevOps

We set up and run the infrastructure behind your website, apps, and email, so it stays up, stays patched, and stays documented.

Who it is for

  • Small businesses whose website, email, or servers were set up years ago by someone who is no longer around.
  • Solo founders and startups who need production infrastructure without hiring a full-time ops engineer.
  • Teams moving off shared hosting, an old VPS, or a provider they have outgrown.

Problems we solve

  • Nobody knows exactly how the site is hosted, who has access, or where the backups are.
  • Email from your domain lands in spam, or someone is spoofing it.
  • Deploys are manual, risky, and depend on one person's laptop.
  • Servers are unpatched, unmonitored, and nobody gets told when something goes down.
  • DNS, domains, and certificates are spread across several accounts and expire by surprise.

What is included

  • Cloud and hosting setup

Hosting chosen for your workload and budget, including Cloudflare Workers, managed platforms, or Linux VPS.

  • Cloudflare

DNS, TLS, caching, Workers, WAF rules, and Zero Trust access for internal tools and admin panels.

  • Linux servers and Docker

Hardened Linux hosts, containerized services, reverse proxies, and automatic security updates.

  • CI/CD pipelines

Automated builds, tests, and deploys with GitHub Actions or similar, with secrets kept out of the repo.

  • Migrations

Moving sites, apps, databases, and email between providers with a rollback plan and minimal downtime.

  • Monitoring and backups

Uptime checks, alerting, log retention, and tested backups, including a restore you have actually watched work.

  • Domain and email setup

Domain consolidation, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC so your email is delivered and your domain is harder to spoof.

  • Maintenance and support

Patching, renewals, small changes, and a named person to call when something breaks.

What you get

  • An infrastructure map showing what runs where, who has access, and what it costs.
  • Configuration kept in version control where practical (wrangler, Docker Compose, CI files).
  • A runbook for deploys, restores, and common incidents.
  • Credentials moved into a password manager or secrets store you own.
  • A short written handover so you are never locked in to us.

How the engagement works

  1. Discover

A call and a read-only review of your current accounts and setup.

  2. Plan

A written plan with scope, fixed price or estimate, and any risks.

  3. Build

We make the changes in small, reversible steps and keep you updated.

  4. Support

Optional monthly maintenance, or a clean handover to your team.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with providers other than Cloudflare?

Yes. We use Cloudflare a lot because it is fast, secure, and good value for small teams, but we also work with common cloud providers, managed hosting, and plain Linux VPS. We recommend what fits your workload and budget.

Will we own all of the accounts?

Yes. Accounts, domains, and credentials stay in your name. We work through access you grant us and can remove at any time.

Can you take over a setup someone else built?

Yes. That is a common starting point. We begin with a read-only review, document what exists, and then fix the riskiest items first.

Do you offer ongoing support?

Yes, as an optional monthly arrangement for patching, monitoring, renewals, and small changes. You can also take a one-off project and a handover document instead.
